Spotasong
Problem: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, smaller businesses were disproportionately negatively affected over larger businesses, who had more resources to handle the public fallout. Spotify wants to do their part in rejuvenating the small-business economy.
Insight: People will go out of their way to hear unreleased music from their favorite artists.
Core Idea: Combine driving with Spotify by leading our target to various small businesses that offer QR codes with unreleased tracks. This will promote local businesses, as listeners rarely forget where they heard their new favorite song for the first time.

Spotify recognizes when you are driving.

QR codes pop up directing you where to drive in order to retrieve your new song.

Once you drive to a partnering business, spot the song and scan the code.

After 5 QR codes are successfully scanned, start driving.

The music will automatically download to your playlist, ready for you to listen.

The more miles you drive, the more QR codes will pop up.

Popular artists all over the world are partnering with Spotify to share their music while you're on the road.
